The C-team Dogs played a good game, but fell to the Walhalla Razorbacks yesterday afternoon. Weather permitting, they'll be back in action this afternoon against the Blue Flame from Pickens.

Any rising 7th or 8th grader interested in trying out for the 2024-2025 Riverside Bulldog Cheerleading Squads are encouraged to attend the informational meeting. Coaches will discuss expectations and the tryout process. If you are unable to attend, packets will be available in all A4 school offices.

Today, we are beginning to collect donations for our first annual Triathlon in order to raise money for student incentives at Riverside including our goal of buildling a gameroom to use for student rewards. If you are willing to support us, please make a flat donation using the QR code or by sending cash or check made payable to Riverside Middle School in with any student. Riverside Middle School was presented with $500 worth of books on the Holocaust from the South Carolina Council on the Holocaust to be added to the library collection. The books are for students and teachers to further their knowledge and education about the Holocaust. We appreciate the SC Council on the Holocaust for providing us with quality literature.

HUGE THANKS to twelve local companies and government agencies who came to Riverside today to participate in a career fair for our 8th graders! Students were able to ask questions and get information to help guide them to classes they might want to take in high school and beyond. THANK YOU to Mrs. Emily McDowell, the best Careers teacher around, for organizing this event for our students!

Thank you to Mr. Sheskey who organized the purchase of a set of Virtual Reality glasses that our students can use across the content areas to experience learning. The Dogs travel to Liberty tonight at 5:00pm to take on the Red Devils

RMS CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS
Cheerleading tryouts for both the RMS football and basketball cheer squads will take place on April 23rd-25th. There will be an optional parent meeting on April 15th at 5:30pm in the RMS Media Center to receive tryout forms and ask any questions. ASD4 school offices will have the information for pick-up starting April 16th for those not able to attend the meeting.
Tryouts are open to any rising 7th or 8th grade students attending RMS next year!
